Hirey

Business Team Lead at Hirey – Scaling Remote Hiring, One Match at a Time

At Hirey, a platform helping companies hire pre-vetted remote talent from around the world, I worked as the Business Team Lead—where my role was part strategist, part operator, and part hands-on builder.

What I Actually Did:

• Led the business operations and go-to-market strategy, making sure we were reaching the right companies and matching them with the right talent.
• Worked directly with the sales, marketing, and customer success teams to align goals, streamline communication, and deliver faster results.
• Set up lead generation systems across outbound email, LinkedIn, and automation tools to consistently bring in new business.
• Helped refine messaging and positioning so that our value to startups, agencies, and global companies was clear and compelling.
• Jumped into calls with clients, helped close deals, and made sure everything post-sale was set up for success—end-to-end.

Highlights:

• Built processes that helped scale client acquisition and onboarding without losing the personal touch.
• Created playbooks and systems for both outreach and follow-up, helping the team work smarter and move faster.
• Worked closely with leadership on pricing, partnerships, and growth experiments—always testing what could move the needle.
• Helped define how Hirey shows up in the market—clear, global, and people-first.

What I Focused On:

• Sales ops & pipeline building
• Lead generation & outbound campaigns
• Process automation & CRM workflows
• Client onboarding & post-sale handoffs
• Team alignment across departments

Tools I Worked With:

Apollo · Smartlead · Instantly · LinkedIn Sales Navigator · Notion · Zapier · Close CRM · Slack · Google Workspace

Bottom line?
I helped build and lead the business side of Hirey—connecting amazing global talent with companies that needed them, while setting up the systems, processes, and messaging to make it all scale.
